    Position Overview

    This position, Fleet Maintenance Logistics Administrator for the Fleet Service Center (FSC), is part of a national call center team that supports the repair and recovery of tractor & trailer assets in the field

    Responsibilities

    Systems:

    • Create the daily Out-of-Service lists for the vendors, for the sites without a Site Supervisor
    • Prepare business matrix(s) for the FSC Clerk work flows & non garage locations
    • OPEN vendor repair orders in TMT – email PO to vendor for repairs
    • Responsible for improving vendor invoice work flow with FSC Clerks
    • Cover Shop Managers work flows as directed
    • Develop synergies between entities within the FSC
    • Develop the use of technologies within the FSC – TV/computer
    • Responsible for standardizing and maintaining system code configuration
    • Assist with system testing to ensure SOP compliance
    • Provide end user support for system issues
    • Core process configuration
    • Help to control and eliminate obsolescence
    • Warranty process configuration and controls

     

    Analytics:

    • Help create and facilitate the implementation of all FSC Scorecards
    • Perform desktop data audits to ensure that invoice processing (TMT & Oracle) is being performed
    • Actively seek system and process improvements

     

    Training:

    • Help to create training materials and documentation of configuration & process changes
    • Help to maintain document control revision

     

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    *

    Support corporate projects related to parts & service sourcing to maintain fleet assets in alignment with the fleet asset replacement strategy agreements

    *

    Coordinate regional asset replacement activity & report progress against replacement schedule targets

    Qualifications

    • Education (Minimum Needed):  High school education required.  Some college preferred.
    • Experience (Minimum Needed):  3-5 years of parts room and inventory management and purchasing experience and working in vehicle maintenance systems required. 
    • Specialized Knowledge Needed For Performance of Job: maintenance management systems administration (MMS), commercial truck components,  D.O.T. repair regulations.
    • Special Skills:  Microsoft Excel plus strong analytical and organization skills.  High attention to detail and accuracy.  
    • Other: Ability to travel (rarely) to other locations to support company initiatives.
