    Position Overview

    As a Tax Preparer, you will assist with the execution of transactional tax compliance functions and tax planning for C&S and affiliated companies.  This includes the compilations and submission of filings and liaison with tax authorities, outside agencies, and internal C&S groups.  The ideal candidate will have strong organization and time management skills, a high level of analytical ability, and work well in a fast paced environment. 


    • Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual transactional tax returns and refund requests with regulatory agencies
    • Extract and validate relevant data from various company systems or provided by various internal departments
    • Compile and reconcile daily payroll tax funding detail provided by third party and submit accurate funding requests to Treasury
    • Assist with research and responses to payroll tax compliance inquiries
    • Reconcile related general ledger balance sheet accounts
    • Calculate and maintain beverage rates for each tax jurisdiction
    • Assist with completion of various tax forms timely and with a high level of accuracy
    • Assist with compiling information required for tax audits and responding to correspondence from regulatory agencies
    • Assist with documenting processes and drafting procedures. 
    • Assist with preparing and filing annual reports with the Secretary of States


    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of three years of applicable experience
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems and tax software (e.g. AR/AP/GL package) preferred
