Position Overview

As a Director, Inventory Control & Quality Assurance will be responsible for development of a high performance customer centric inventory management team. The team serves both internal and external customers providing insights to opportunities preventing loss or risk of loss. This position is responsible for monitoring and managing inventory loss and gains from receipt to customer. This requires working interdepartmentally with business partners to drive results. 

Responsibilities

  • Managing Inventory loss / gain to include providing insights to process gaps that drive results
  • Effectively presenting insights to cross collaborative teams of business partners with the ability influence change
  • Executive level communication of opportunities and obstacles
  • Manage the activities and performance of Inventory Control team for region
  • Manage the activities and performance of Warehouse Auditing team for region
  • Manage the activities and performance of Claims Processing team for region
  • Meeting annual business goals objectives

 

 

Qualifications

  • BA or Equivalent experience
  • 5 to 10 years of business experience with 5 or more in Inventory Control
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience with inventory management systems, EXE warehouse management systems a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop associates
  • Detail oriented planning and executive level presentation skills
  • Ability to actively participate in cross-functional initiatives, understand differences of opinion and effectively promote resolution
