Position Overview

As a Human Resources Representative, you will be responsible for screening and hiring internal and external applicants for Warehouse and Clerical positions, while providing day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources Department.


  • Participate in field recruitment activities, including but not limited to, resume screens, phone screens, and both onsite and offsite job fairs.
  • Perform basic office duties including, but not limited to, data entry, filing, and new hire on-boarding and benefits packet creation.
  • Perform new hire orientation activities.
  • Issue ID badges to employees, vendors, and visitors.
  • Coordinate and prepare various correspondences, record keeping, and file maintenance, etc.
  • Maintain various spreadsheets/databases and create reports, as requested.
  • Team with managers and/or supervisors on employee relations matters, as requested.
  • Participate/coordinate facility events, community service activities, and special events.
  • Complete special project work, as assigned.
  • Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.


  • One year of previous experience in Human Resources processes and procedures

  • FMLA and short-term disability knowledge preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a friendly and helpful attitude

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be flexible to work different hours and shifts
