Position Overview

As a Regional Manager- Inventory Control/ Quality Assurance, you will identify and eliminate causes of shrink, ensure compliance of established operating policies and procedures, and assist with the roll-out of Corporate shrink reduction and quality improvement initiatives. You will partner with the C&S Operations Leadership team and also work directly with our customers. 

Responsibilities

  • Primary manager for loss prevention in multiple facilities. Provide daily, weekly, monthly reporting on inventory shrink reserve expense.
  • Work with facility management to develop shrink action plans and quality plans meant to improve operational excellence.
  • Assist with special projects related to shrink control, auditing, customer startups, building realignments etc. throughout the C&S organization.
  • Participate and lead internal meetings, conference calls etc., regarding shrink and loss prevention.
  • Assist with training in all areas of operation that contribute to lost product. Must be subject matter expert on receiving, storing and shipping product to customers. Produce training materials and SOP’s to support training as required.
  • Customer relationship manager for credit processing, auditing program for multiple facilities.
  • Monitor Inventory Control staff, including Supervisors and hourly employees to ensure cycle count program is being managed correctly.
  • Oversee multiple facilities (at least 3-4 distribution centers)

Qualifications

  • BS in Business Administration, Accounting or Logistics Management or the equivalent combination of training and experience in a related field is required.
  • Proven ability to quickly identify problems, formulate solutions, take corrective actions and follow-up. 
  • Quality assurance or inventory control experience is preferred, ability to learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of warehouse computer systems, basic proficiency with personal computer operations.
  • Ability to lead teams and convey shrink control requirements to internal staff and customers.
  • Ability to convey findings of evaluation to upper management.
  • Leadership skills including team building, coaching and mentoring for personnel development.
  • Ability to analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Self motivator with a positive attitude.
  • Requires travel (50-75%)
