Position Overview

As the Regional Manager  of Retail Systems oversees the entire Retail Technology operations for the Mid-Atlantic and Dubois regions. This includes coordinating all projects with the supervisors, overseeing the billing and inventory for the regions, addressing any customer concerns and interacting with the retailers by promoting the services offered by the Retail technology department.


  • Requires the ability to provide appropriate recommendations to customers which will allow them to remain technologically up-to-date
  • Creates, develops, and implements department policy related to procedures that all employees operate under in cooperation with senior management
  • Oversees department schedules weekly to ensure adequate coverage for optimal service levels. Oversees the vacation and time off schedules for the department to ensure adequate coverage during the year
  • Must be able to develop and cultivate relationships with existing and new customers utilizing the services and products from the department
  • Maintains discipline within the department by enforcing company policies and standards
  • Provides direction related to hardware and software decisions as the systems age and change
  • Requires the ability to sell the department services and products to the customers through Buying Shows or individual meetings
  • Performing and/or reviewing all department evaluations and instructing direct reports as to evaluation techniques
  • Troubleshooting of the department software and products when required. As well as any other technologies interfacing with the systems
  • Responsibility for department P&L performance in all aspects from weekly calls with accounting to the budget process yearly


  • Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Computer Science or Related field
  • 3 plus years of experience in the retail technology industry. Knowledge of supermarket operations helpful. Prior experience managing and motivating a team required.
  • Experience with Cisco routers and switches and networking infrastructure
  • Knowledge of RORC systems including software that interfaces to RORC recommended
  • A strong knowledge of networking, systems, hardware, and front end scanning systems desired
