Position Overview

As a Scheduling Representative, you will be a part of a team that ensures timely delivery of products to C&S customers. You will work with manufacturers and transportation carriers to schedule and expedite orders through an online scheduling system.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and schedule inbound loads to ensure highest customer service level and distribution efficiency.
  • Use online scheduling system, Retalix, to expedite orders that require high priority status due to rush shipments
  • Communicate with manufacturers and transportation carriers to resolve issues 
  • Create and edit purchase orders to align with expected customer shipment due date 
  • Review status of expedited orders to ensure timely arrival of orders 
  • Ad hoc projects, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Outstanding attention to detail; ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and sometimes stressful atmosphere
