Position Overview

As a Digital Content Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation, design, and on-going maintenance of the company’s new employee-facing information, engagement, and HR case management portal. This position combines communications and design capabilities with technical, system administration responsibilities to create the best user experience for the company’s 15,000+ employees nationwide.

Responsibilities

Support the company’s implementation of and transition to ServiceNow Employee Portal, intended to provide all employee groups with company news and information, location- or function-specific updates, employment policy and procedure details, and updates on open HR Employee Resource Center questions.

  • Participate in design sessions for the functional and visual design of the portal,
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to inventory all necessary content to transfer from other platforms, desired content based on engagement and communication needs of all employee groups, and manage the content cultivation, verification, and upload into the portal.
  • Have primary accountability for executing on the overall navigation, developing the design of all main pages, and building all HR- and company-related content.

Post-implementation and on-going,

  • Act as System Administrator for the front-end of the Employee Portal
  • Develop and update informational and engagement content as determined by the Communications team and other content owners (ie, Benefits, HR Operations)
  • Design and develop digital content for Employee Portal and digital displays
  • Work with Workforce Analytics and HR Operations teams to track and use traffic and engagement metrics to drive future content development decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, Web Design, or related field OR commensurate certifications required.
  • Experience with web writing, production management, web page design, and HTML required.
  • Experience with PC Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Experience with content management software, especially intranet platforms and WordPress, a plus.
  • Excellent writing and content management skills required.
  • Must have intense attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
  • Previous experience working on cross-functional projects preferred.
