Position Overview

As a Chain Sales Account Executive, you will manage the relationship between C&S Wholesale Grocers and Tops by coordinating and integrating C&S and the assigned customer's business strategies to achieve maximum sales and profitability for both C&S and the customer.



  • Prepare, review, and tailor customer reports to ensure accurate and actionable data.
  • Oversee expedited new item requests, item conversions and item maintenance.
  • Support account teams to resolve, track and measure inventory issues such as: excess ad, discontinued, dead and excess, short-coded, customer reserve, and slow movers.
  • Manage new customer or additional business start-ups, as opportunities arise (as related to Impaired Inventory processes and training).
  • Assist in candy and seasonal programs.
  • Continually review and identify opportunities to modify, automate, and streamline existing business processes to find more efficient and effective ways for both organizations to meet their business objectives.
  • Common KPI development and tracking.
  • Support quarterly business review.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years' experience in similar role.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical skills are crucial.
  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and team playing skills.
  • Ability to communicate, influence, negotiate and interact with all levels of management.
