    Position Overview

    As an Enterprise Systems Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the broad management for the Enterprise Networking & Communications infrastructure. This would include Data Center Networking, LAN/WAN, Wireless, Mobile Communications, legacy PBX & VoIP Telephony, Video Conferencing, and other collaborative conduits. This position will be a hands-on lead engineer and coordinate the day-to-day planning, design, operations and maintenance of the networking, telecommunications and collaborative functions to ensure a service level that meets or exceeds customer needs and organization objectives.


    • Ensures that detailed project plans are developed for all major projects, updates are communicated and milestones are met.
    • Ensures delivery of expected business benefits on time and within budget and presents weekly status as required to IS management and/or business stakeholders.
    • Ability to forge and sustain effective and productive working relationships between diverse members of C&S Technology staff.
    • Builds partnerships with key departments and leaders. Communicates network plans, project progress and critical issues to management and staff.
    • Manage direction for designing, troubleshooting, maintenance and enhancements of the Communications Infrastructure, which can include but will not be limited to; Instant Messaging, VoIP, Legacy PBX decommission, Mobile Communications, Collaborative and Video Conferencing.
    • Provide accurate and timely audits and reports needed by management to ensure highly available and legally compliant products and services.
    • Reviews quality of key deliverables, focusing on satisfying business objectives and meeting business benefits
    • Ensures Network & Telecommunications Systems policies, processes and procedures are in place and operating effectively within accepted and established SLA’s.
    • Responsible for the life-cycle planning for Networking, Telecommunications and Collaborative infrastructure and services. This includes forecasting growth, purchases, and replacements necessary to keep the services in a supported and in a highly available state.
    • Work closely with business, IT associates and outside vendors to effectively plan, deploy and update Enterprise Networking & Communications infrastructure environment additions and changes.


    • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering or other related fields required, Master’s Degree preferred and can be counted as 2 yrs. of additional experience.
    • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise level networking and communication systems.
    • 1-2 years managing or leading a team of 5 or more engineers
    • Large scale ( Multi-state, Multi-billion dollar) Corporate environment experience required
    • Strong, first-hand experience with enterprise level communications services and infrastructure including, but not limited to administration tasks, vendor management, and maintenance tasks/agreements.
    • Prior Experience with Communications Technology, VOIP, SIP, IP Networking, Network Protocols, Avaya, and Cisco Data Center Networking Technologies.
    • Strong Project Management experience including SDLC or phase-gate methodology, MS Project scheduling, test planning, and defect tracking.
    • Experience designing and implementing Unified Communications multi-site collaborative large scale deployments a plus
